Change of dates for the Level 1 On-Line Coaching Course

FIBA Americas wants to communicate that the end of the 1st edition of the Level 1 Course for Coaches has been extended to May 15, 2014, factor forcing the delay of the end of the registration process and the start of the 2nd edition, the new Level 1 course will begin on its new start date July 14, 2014 and will run until November 16, 2014.


FAU18W – The Draw of the FIBA Americas U18 Championship for Women will be on Thursday

The FIBA Americas U18 Championship for Women will take place Aug. 6-10 and will feature U18 national teams from Argentina, Brazil, Canada, Chile, El Salvador, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the USA.


FIBA - Czech Republic to host FIBA U17 World C'ship for Women instead of Slovak Republic

The 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship for Women, originally set to take place in Bratislava, Slovak Republic, will instead be played in the Czech Republic, FIBA announced on Saturday.


SPAIN2014 – The meetings of Magnano and Vanderlei with the Brazilian NBA players continue

The center of the Boston Celtics, Victor Faverani, met on Sunday night (13th) with the coach of the National Team of Brazil, Ruben Magnano, and the Technical Director of the Brazilian Basketball Confederation (CBB), Vanderlei Mazzuchini. During the meeting in Boston, the three talked about the first year of Brazilian player in the NBA and the schedule of Brazil looking forward to the World Cup of Spain, August 30 to September 14.


FAU18 - Ivan Najnudel defined the U18 National Team

All set for the U18 National Team. After several days of practices and disputes of friendly matches, Ivan Najnudel, coach in charge of this team, appointed the 12 players who will make up the team that will face the Vilagarcia Cup in Spain, and the Albert Schweitzer Tournament in Germany.
