EDMONTON (2015 FIBA Americas Championship) - Santander Cristian’s team remains undefeated after defeating the National Team of Venezuela, 71 - 55. The Argentina team assured a place in the Semi-Finals.

• Turning Point: Argentina dominated the first quarter, 22-9 and remained at the top of the scoreboard for the rest of the game.

• Stats don’t lie: Argentina took the lead in all categories of the statistics, setting clear dominance in the paint. The rebounding battle was won by Argentina, 44-21.

• Game Hero: Gisela Vega was again masterful for Cristian Santander’s team with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 3 assists.

• The Bottom Line: Argentina secured a place in the Semi-Finals and tomorrow, will fight against rivals Brazil, looking to stay undefeated. Venezuela will face Ecuador, at a time when the participation of Roselis Silva is in doubt after hurting her right arm in the game against Argentina.
