The Saville Community Sports Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada is ready for tip-off of the 2015 FIBA Americas Women’s Championship where 10 national teams from around the continent will play for the title of the best of the Americas and a spot to the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016.

#FIBAAmericasWomen2015 - Defending champs Cuba and hosts Canada headline Group A
Group A of the 2015 FIBA Americas Women’s Championship features the defending champion Cuba, the silver medalists from the 2013 and hosts Canada, along with Puerto Rico, Chile and the Dominican Republic. Although there are two clear favorites in the group, it promises to be a hard-fought battle to claim semifinal spots for the five national teams.

#FIBAAmericasWomen2015 - It's almost crunch time for Chile
The FIBA Americas Women's Championship (9-16 August) tips off in less than a month and the Chileans, who finished sixth in the 10-team tournament a couple of years ago, should have a better idea of their prospects following four games against Ecuador on 17, 18, 19 and 20 July.
